Once you get Zero Harm Farm set up you should invite contractors to be inducted and sign in and out on your farm. It’s simple, mobile and paperless.
You can now let all contractors and visitors know that the app is up and running and ready to use – just ask them to go to app.zeroharmfarm.com and click on your farm from the Registered Farms menu.
They will need to create a login initially, but once they’re setup they’re away laughing.
Maybe you could use an email template like the one below to make contact with your contractors and visitors?

Our farm is now using Zero Farm Harm’s online services as part of our commitment to managing our Health and Safety requirements.
We now require you and your employees to be inducted and sign in and out of our farm. The system is free and very easy to use.

You can induct yourself at anytime, just find our farm in the registered farm section of the app and complete the induction.You only have to complete this once – you and your team will be notified of any temporary or new serious hazards as they are updated on our farm each time you sign in.
Then, when you visit our farm, you can just sign in and out via the app on your smart phone.
We also request you please forward via email a copy of your company’s Job Safety Analysis for our records outlining any hazardous equipment being used; safe work practices used by your business to keep your employees and all others safe while engaged in work on our property.

In the app you will see it creates a history of user inductions and sign in and out’s, which is handy – particularly if contractors are coming on farm while you’re away.
You can also sign someone out if they forget to sign out at the end of the day by clicking ‘force sign out’ in the menu.
